On Saturday, October 24, Mayor Rob Keffer, Deputy Mayor James Leduc, Ward Councillor Gary Lamb and staff from the Office of Economic Development gathered at 692 Simcoe Road to celebrate the Grand Opening of Strange Wood Products. Friends and family of owner Corey Ferguson were on-hand to celebrate the occasion, and were treated to a tour of the workshop.
