On Friday, July 24, the Town of BWG witnessed the arrival of its first retail cannabis store, with the Grand Opening of Starbuds. Located in the town’s former post office at 22 Barrie Street, owner Stew Garner has renovated the interior into an engaging, upscale shopping space that provides a host of cannabis-based products.
Starbuds operates in three provinces – Alberta, BC and Ontario. It has stores in BWG and Barrie with plans for another shop in Innisfil and a second Barrie location.
