Bradford West Gwillimbury’s economic development functions are conducted through the Office of Economic Development (OED), located in the Town offices at 100 Dissette Street, Bradford.
In October 2008, Council approved an Economic Development
Strategic Plan. The OED has responsibility to implement the plan, which includes important priorities and specific work plans and targets to achieve those priorities.
Michael Disano, Manager of Economic Development, works with Council and the Economic Development Advisory Committee to encourage new businesses of all sizes to invest in our town, and to assist existing businesses to prosper.
Projects and initiatives are developed and carried out in accordance with the economic-development
mission. The OED offers a variety of
services of value to existing and prospective businesses, supported by key
partnerships among community and government organizations.
